Raised in Sugar Land, TX, Dr. Melissa Wendt had a passion for teeth and wellness early on. Suffering from a cross-bite, severe crowding, and speech problems, she started early intervention orthodontic treatment at the age of 6. Knowing how much of an impact that treatment had on herself, she wanted to be able to do the same for someone else. Rooted in this passion, she pursued her undergraduate education at Baylor University. Dr. Wendt continued her love of learning at the University of Texas Dental School, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. She is the proud owner of Anchor Dental in Katy, TX and is a standing member of numerous Dental Associations. She is dedicated to the lifelong learning of the newest, safest, and most innovative dental services available and has hundreds of hours of continuing education post dental school. Dr. Wendt loves working with kids, so rest assured you and your child are in great and gentle hands!
When Dr. Wendt is not practicing her passion for dentistry, she enjoys gardening and landscaping, scuba diving, reading, being outdoors, spending time at the beach with her husband, and being wrapped around her two daughters’ little fingers.
She is passionate about dentistry, and surrounds herself with a phenomenal team that goes above and beyond to provide you and your family with an exceptional dental experience.

Dr. Tim Brune, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Time Brune is a native Houstonian and graduated from Marquette Dental School in Milwaukee in 1976. Dr. Brune completed his residency at the Houston Medical Center in 1977 and attained Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1992. He maintains active memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Houston District Dental Association.

Esmeralda, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Esmeralda is a native Texan who has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She is a graduate of the Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, TX where she started as a dental assistant and quickly became passionate about dentistry. Her passion inspired her to further her education by becoming a Dental Hygienist in 2012.
Esmeralda is passionate about dental health and also loves to give back to the community through volunteer dentistry. She spends a lot of time with patients to educate and encourage them to maintain good periodontal health. Patients appreciate her gentle and compassionate bedside manner.
Esmeralda is a dedicated wife, and mother to her two beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, physical fitness, travel and volunteer work.

Registered Dental Assistant
Narjara was born in Cuba and grew up on music, love, and family. Over a decade ago, she was blessed with the opportunity to become a US citizen, which has allowed a better life for her family. She values time spent with her daughters, husband, and friends. She enjoys going to dinner and movies.

Shelby
Shelby has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. She is highly dedicated to customer service and helping patients throughout the entire appointment process. Even with her extensive background and training, she continues to further her education to ensure the patient experience goes as smoothly as possible; from the first phone call to the check out process.
Shelby is originally from Oklahoma and grew up all over the state of Texas. When she is not working, she enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends. She has a son and a daughter that mean the world to her. She also loves to travel and meet new people.
